Dont read it that way. I think he’s just showing that not all of our rivals are wholly bad. Hayes did the right thing. See 26th above.

The stories a bit strange though as it becomes really pro Celtic and one of their players. I suspect that is why the OP posted it, but I could be completely wrong.

Hayes of course did the right thing, but as a child no Celtic player would have had me almost in tears of enjoy, regardless of how much they helped me.

Don't think it comes across as pro-Celtic. All it says to me is that Hayes seems like a nice guy

This was widely reported in the Scottish press a few months ago - it's old news.

Spare a thought for me - my kid has Kevin Thomson as his private coach... and when he runs camps my kid both attends and assists KT in setting up the drills and "demonstrating" for the younger kids.... and almost invariably KT has Scott Brown show up to present their participation certificates.  My Mrs always sends me a picture of my kid smiling beside Scott Brown - it's enough to make you puke.  But, it gets worse.... my kid says "Scott Brown's a really nice guy - don't be calling him nasty names" - my kid hasn't realized yet that he has been cut out of the will :D

Hashtag Celtic fc at the end? His son near tears because Hayes sent him something? It sounds like trolling to me, particularly with the horrendous grammar. Honestly, the amount of illiterate drivel I see on our FB pages is unreal. This topic doesn’t belong here.

I'd be tearful if my mum didn't know what a full stop was.  ?

And stopping kids fighting doesn't make someone a 'nice guy'.  It's what any responsible adult would do.

It's everything black and white in your world? The story was doing the rounds before it was on FB. It was a decent thing to do for a guy in the public eye. Does everything need to be laced with cynicism and negativity?
