And slang is really all this is about. Anyone can speak a new and different language tomorrow by disguising words with inventive pronunciation but it's not a different 'language' unless it's spoken by many and to the exclusion of non-speakers ... and unless it has been thoroughly codified.

Against my better judgement I listened again to the OP. The bloke is shambling about in Aberdeen but he’s not talking like any Aberdonian I’ve ever heard. Seriously, does anyone anywhere speak like that?
