Nope,  Broon is still the main man, Davis & Defoe wouldn't get in ST Pats team

I heard about a minute of some argument between Macleod and Burns and the gist of it was conjecture from them both, with Macleod pointing out that Brown is younger than Defoe and Davis (though only by 6 months re: Davis), therefore it was ridiculous to assert that Brown was past it when Defoe and Davis were being lauded as great signings.

I think there is merit in both stances, but as ever we will need to wait till our new signings play a few games before we can judge the impact they will have vs the apparently fading Broonaldinho

Gerrard has said he just wanted to see Hardie up close at the training camp and he could go back out on loan, and he said he wouldn’t keep him just to be a squad player. That’s changes things a bit regarding the 2 up front stuff because 3 strikers is a much more normal number to have in the squad for 1 up front.

Obviously conjecture but hypothetically, you'd have to consider a bid as high as 7M.

You'd expect Mark Allen to have a floating list of contingencies lined up for all positions.

Maybe this is why we were looking at the American lad (Matt Polster)? He can play RB and right midfield.

I'd be sorry to see him leave but I'd take £7m for him all day long.

£7m seems a bit light to me though, given he's contracted till 2022.  Saying that, if the numbers get to the likes of £10m+ I suspect that might be the trigger point.
