Rangers v Aberdeen

Recommended Posts

Lethargic performance. Aberdeen got their usual set piece goal and now they’re sitting in and we’re passing from side to side and not taking risks. We need an attacking substitution at half time, Coulibaly off I would say for Lafferty or Grezda. Morelos having a poor game giving the ball away a lot and picked up a silly yellow before half time.

If ever there was a team of dirty tactics, dirty football and vile players, it is Aberdeen right now. Got a Livingston-like gift of a free-kick and scored, after that it was foul after foul after foul ... no cohesion to our game either though, they have us where they want us and we no means to change that. Half time should see changes.

We started brightly with some nice quick play but then after the goal we've gone into our shell a bit messing around between defence and midfield with very little quick through ball. Glen Middleton brought out a great save from Lewis 5-10 minutes from the break but other than that we've not created much while Aberdeen have charged around the field pushing our players over and slowing the game down with niggly free kicks and some gamesmanship in return.
