[FT] Hibernian 0 - 0 Rangers

1st half thoughts. Pretty much controlled the match and we should be 2 up. We need to press higher as a team and put pressure on their defence (especially Ambrose). We also need to stop relinquishing cheap possession. For example, McGregor is too keen to lump it high when we could roll it out to Jack. When we pass it we look half decent. Oh And we need two top class midfielders (no shit Sherlock...)

Very poor first 20mins which was like a training match for both teams.

After that we've been the better team by some distance and only good goalkeeping and last ditch defending has stopped us going in front.

We simply must make the most of any opportunities that come our way after the break.

It's been 60% possession to hubz, but.

Shots: hubz 2 - Rangers 9

Shots on target: hubz 0 - Rangers 6

Corners: hubz 1 - Rangers 7

Agreed, we must up the tempo and if we do they are there for the taking

Whittaker almost as vile as Broadfoot when playing us. Flooring Coulibaly with a late tackle, then pushing him to the ground ... and laughs about it. Must have been TLB's influence.

We should lead this game and need to take our chances. At times we had them reeling.

I disagree.

We're allowing their centre halves to have the ball because they're constantly giving it away.  Yes, we should press where we can but Hibs' threat is on the counter so we do have to keep our shape to avoid issues there.

The tactics are working largely fine - we just need to take the chances.  So far we can say we've been unlucky but that excuse only goes so far if you want to win leagues.
