[FT] Rangers 1 - 0 Celtic (Jack 30)

I heard Spiers is spending his morning trying to find Peden's Pulpit, near his maw's house.  Maybe he'll gain some rightful understanding of the world at that spot.

He's a scumbag.  And don't let him forget it.

Obviously a great way to go into the break and hopefully we come out of that break stronger.

But after the euphoria of yesterday I find myself looking at the table and ruing all those needlessly dropped points. We could have been sitting top of the pile with a comfortable cushion.

But the fact is the hoodoo has been lifted. We know we can beat them and just as importantly they know it too. Let’s go get the still available double.

Maybe we waited too long to hire an “untested under 18’s coach”

Over to you Spiers for an updated opinion on the insanity of it.

We'll need to be at our best when the league resumes and we'll know fairly quickly if yesterdays win gives the players more belief and confidence.

After the Cup match in Fife, three of our first four SPFL games are away at Kilmarnock, Livingston and Aberdeen.

Tough schedule. If we could come through that unscathed we would be in a good place and presumably set for a run of ‘easier’ games to solidify the position.

On paper, It's a tough run up until the split but there will be no European distractions, only the Scottish Cup in that we'll have a SC fixture on the second w/e of Feb (due respect to the Blue Brazil :D).

Fucking sublime performance. That's exactly what Rangers teams looked like pre-2012 when playing Celtic.

Fighting for every ball, getting absolutely tore into them. That's what a Rangers team is supposed to look like.

We're in a fantastic position at the moment. Level on points with Celtic going into the January transfer window. Get a few solid editions in and we're in with a shout at achieving something in the 2nd half of the season. Whether that be a Scottish Cup win or league title.
