Brexit - the big vote

Recommended Posts

It's set up to be a very interesting few weeks, for the UK and the EU.

With 14 million British kids already living in poverty and the standard of living being worse than ever (according to two posters on Gersnet), you wonder how we'd cope having to wait in longer queues at airports and with not knowing how much we'll have to pay, in tax, to move to the Costa Del Sol.

Time to get stocked up on supplies, lads.

I suggest laying in a few sets of sabatiers and a ton of shotgun cartridges. Very effective pepper spray can be made at home at a very reasonable cost. And beans. Beans are essential.

I will not be getting stocked up on supplies, thank you very much.

Each tin of food hoarded by a Brexiteer could have been used to feed one of the 140 million British children already living in poverty.

Sadly, it is true.  Owen Jones told me about it in the local avocado and halloumi vegan diner last week.

Guys, please stop this bickering and see post #36 for the true figure.

Firstly the reaction from the Dutch European leader was that if people think this will lead to a renegotiation then they are totally wrong, (Politicians don't always tell the truth)

As Britain and Holland are the biggest export\import lands with each other a no deal Brexit will hit these countries the hardest.

One Dutch economist said the only positive about Brexit for the Dutch is that it has blown Nexit out the water.

One Dutch minister did say that Britain will leave Europe without a deal and they will do just fine. I guess he was a Nexit supporter.
