Corbyn - Labour's gift to the nation

Agreed, though if the Tories manage to get Brexit over the line, they will receive an influx of votes from the Brexit party, and if that happens the impact, especially in what would have been marginals will give them a big lead. The votes of the 4m or so Labour voters in Leave seats however is unclear as many i know will not now vote Labour again for changing their Brexit policy. Yes Labour will gain more remain votes, but they will come from areas such as London where they would have won anyway. Around 40 Labour seats are now vulnerable across the midlands and into the North.  Personally i can't stand the duplicitous Tories, but you have to be a maniac to vote for Corbyn and his merry band.

Let me put it this way:

Would you have be a 'maniac' to vote for saving the NHS as a public concern, free to all rather than be forced into a US-style insurance system?

Would you have to be a maniac to vote for re-taking the railways and utilities back into public ownership?

Would you have to be a maniac to vote for small tax increases for those earning over 90k?

Would you have to be a maniac to avoid going into unnecessary wars?

Because none of the other parties are offering all of those. That would be what voting for Corbyn would mean.

If the media are trying to discredit him so much then it shows they must be afraid; otherwise why fret over an 'unelectable'?

Labour/Liberals/SNP have been screaming about the protecting the NHS from Tory demolition for more than buster’s four decades yet it’s still here performing on every scale from disastrous through poor, adequate, very good, excellent to miraculous.

Even the arch fiend, Thatcher, didn’t sell it off. Don’t worry about it, asil.

Put it anyway you want but  I don't think anyone from the Tory party has suggested an insurance system - I think that most people earning over 90k have already got private health insurance - either privately or through a company health scheme.

Secondly, i'd rather not go back to a nationally run railways. When  i first started work in the late 80s they were still using 1950s rolling stock and were always on strike. Comrade Corbyn would love to take us back to collective bargaining, secondary picketing and a 1950s rail service.

Thirdly, The 90k small tax increase is just an envy tax and would bring in very little extra revenue.

Fourthly, we were already taken into an unnecessary and probably illegal war by the Labour party and although i doubt Corbyn would do similar, we could not guarantee the future security of the country with someone with Corbyn's CND and Marxist credentials.

I think most people are thinking the same way, as despite the most disorganised and split Tory party since records began, the official opposition are not ahead in the polls, Corbyn's own personal rating has always been below that of the disaster that is Theresa May and they are engulfed in antisemitism with 100k members leaving this year alone.

So yes, i think you would have to be a maniac to let Corbyn anywhere near power, for so many reasons. And i haven't even mentioned the economic harm he and McDonnell would wreck!!

The threat to the N.H.S. is a lie.

It gets wheeled out by lying liars.

They say you need a period of socialist government once in a while to make sure socialism never takes root in a society. A form of national mass inoculation.

In that context, you have to wonder if Corbyn might actually be the ultimate vaccination that consigns socialism to the dustbin of really bad ideas in perpetuity.

If they turn Labour into a Mark 2 Tory Party then it matters not a jot who is the leader. More people chanted 'Fxk Boris' at Glastonbury than actually voted for him in the Tory election.

Ask yourself: why have the media and millionaires of the establishment bothered to mount such an intensive campaign of vilification if Corbyn is so 'unelectable'? If he has no chance then why worry about him? After all, indifference is the deadliest insult of all.
