[FT] Kilmarnock 2 - 1 Rangers (Defoe 12)

Recommended Posts

Whatever the arguments about shape, formation, tactics, and the rest, the fact remains that in a game of 90 mins, Kilmarnock schooled Rangers, across the board, in all aspects of the game, individually and collectively, for at least 70 of them; and that is not good enough.

Fur coat and nae knickers, Steven.

McAuley has to take blame for the second goal. He is so slow and gave Jones all the time

and space in the world to shoot. Jones up against McAuley was always a worry and when you see how slow he is you have to wonder what Katic has to do to get a start. Missed Goldson tonight.

Formation was totally wrong to play against of all teams Killie away ,we beat them before with width , absolute shambles .

Agree 100%. Didn't understand Davis coming off? Arfield was doing nowt and I thought Davis and Jack were starting to put their foot on the ball. All the good work and momentum achieved by beating the tims is gone in 90 minutes. We kissed goodbye to the league tonight

Worrall and our inability to make changes lost us the match.

Worrall more so.  Had he not gifted Killie an equalizer I'm not sure they would have got one.

We were horrible at the back.  Say what we like about Goldson but he was missed tonight for sure.  Our central defensive pairings, no matter which combination, are too weak.

We look more like we are in a fight for 2nd place with Killie than we are with Celtic to win the league.  But no worries, we are far better than these wee diddy clubs like Killie and the sheep and they are all overdue a drubbing

You are blaming players here when maybe you should be blaming the manager who picks them?

Manager has to take some responsibility for that shambles. Plays 2 guys who are not match fit. Plays a bomb scare in Worrall who’s a loanee amd not the guy he signed on a full time basis. Takes far too long in trying to change things. Not the second time this season he’s managed a shambles.

Killie had a manager with a plan and players who gave everything in carrying out that plan.

Rant over.

Yes I do blame the manager. I just meant McAuley was at fault.
