The sooner we start seeing young lads getting to a level of ability to be able to break into the first team squad, the better. I’m convinced we won’t fully overtake Celtic until we have really good players coming into the first team from the academy, the way Celtic have done with Tierney and McGregor. Our Young-Coomes straight through on goal, hauled down by the Roma defender, the ref gives us a foul, books our player and doesnt give the defender anything! Then VAR steps in and the defender is rightly sent off.
