BREAKING:The Scottish FA will take no further action against Kilmarnock’s Alan Power for his challenge on Ryan Jack due to an insufficiency of evidence.

Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Taking into account the out and out jobbery which has accompanied and pervaded the role of Compliance Officer, we - and even those uninterested in Scottish Fitba' -  detect the stench of  putrefaction; and all the incense in the world will not disguise its reek.

Rangers should ask the SFA that with all the video clips and still photos available showing this incident what constitutes 'insufficient evidence'.
They should be asked to clarify, publicly, just what exactly would suit their requirements for 'sufficient evidence' to warrant their acceptance of an action of violent conduct.
How can they possibly expect other clubs and fans to maintain respect for their 'compliance programme' in the face of such undeniably selective choices and decisions?

Was Power not given a yellow card for that ‘challenge ‘ on Jack ?

If so that should be the end of it whether we like it or not. The referee has SEEN the incident. It is not UNSEEN whereby retrospective action could be taken.

Same should now apply to MacGregor tomorrow. The referee has SEEN the incident & no further action should be taken. It is not UNSEEN.

Also the hibs player who was offered a 2 game ban after getting booked against the yahoos last week should get this disgraceful punishment rescinded too and the stupid bitch of a CO sacked from her position

I feel this factor of a referee having seen an incident evidenced by the fact he gave a yellow card for it should not be a deciding factor when considering further action. A referee might see a raised boot from wherever he might be then react to it but having seen it doesn't demonstrate that he has fully comprehended how truly bad it was.

Talk about career threatening tackle has been bandied around recently regarding the actions of McGregor. I don't think it's an exaggeration to label the below life threatening. And that life threatening nature of it which occurs in a fraction of a second can only be fully appreciated when you have the chance to closely examine it afterwards from such an ideal viewing angle.

Yellow card for dangerous play the referee got it spot on. Totally no intent by Power. I would be mad if a Rangers player got sent off for that.

To be honest I don't think there is any real intent either but it has to be appreciated that raising the foot that high showing studs is dangerous and has to be deterred. Don't you think it likely that Morelos would be red carded if he went in like that?

Are you kidding? Studs up and at head height - RED every time.
How can we take the hammer throwers out of the game if this conduct is allowed?

That's pretty much my point. Regardless of whether there was any intent to inflict injury raising a boot that high as he did creates a very good chance indeed that there could be a life changing injury perhaps the loss of any eye as an example.

There is no legitimate excuse to raise a boot that high with an opposition player in close proximity challenging for that ball.
