Union Bears statement

Recommended Posts

I realise there were chaotic scenes of sheer anarchy - almost like something out of Mad Max - for a minute or two but I'd hope professionals could cope.

Could this be the end of the UB as a part of the match day experience? The club have no reason to discuss this matter any further with them. It seems the club have decided we don’t need the expense of safe standing or wish to move ST holders to accommodate the UB. Or it could be the club are using these factors to silence them regarding certain songs/words ? The longer the UB stay in the huff, the less they will be missed.

The atmosphere was terrific on Tuesday night.   If you like Aberdeen songs, that is.

Expect to be regularly outsung by 800 diddies for the rest of the season if the UBs continue their protest.

Aye, songs about the Ibrox disaster, "go home ya Huns", Ian Durrant's injury and countless Irish Republican anthems are all preferable to the occasional Loyalist add-on, right you are.

?

No wonder we're such easy meat these days.

Who said they were preferable? Two wrongs don't make a right. Other fans unwanted chants should never be a excuse for our own problematic song book.

So songs make us easy meat so to improve our team we need better singing, might help but as I have said in previous posts the words I mentioned mean nothing or very little to most of our squad.

Players nowhere in modern football pay any attention to the actual words sung by the respective supports.  The passion is what matters.
