Gary Mackay-Steven??! You've got to be at the wind-up dB.

That was up in January ... and no news ever since.

BTW, the Record (?) has a story today that Liverpool "may" look to want 8-10m for Kent in the summer  ... because he played so well for us.

Our left midfield/wing next season has Murphy, Grezda, Middleton and Jones ... so other areas are probably more important.

The idea that we could have signed Ryan Kent for 2M or so was always fantasy.

Three things

1. We'll only get those type of players from the English market on loan

2. We have to explore other markets where you get more for your money

3. We have to start pushing are own promising youngsters where possible and giving them the chance to improve quickly

Please add Greg Stewart to the ‘in’ rumours

?

Stewart (if on a Bosman) would make sense.

Plus side is his creativity.

Doubt would be coping with the weight of the jersey.

Hastie 'agrees personal terms' with Rangers

Motherwell wide man Jake Hastie has reportedly agreed terms with Rangers over a summer switch from Fir Park.

That’s the news coming out of Football Insider who say the 21-year-old has agreed a four-year deal worth £15,000-a-week.

Motherwell would be due a compensation fee for the Fir Park academy product.

Rangers have long been linked with a move for the Scotland U21 star who has struck 10 goals in 37 appearances in his breakthrough season.

And he was tipped by his former boss to go on to star for the Ibrox club.

Stephen Findlay - who had the player on loan at Airdrie - said: “Jake was clearly a very special talent and we had a conversation about keeping him at Airdrie but he decided to go to play at a higher level. You could see the potential and the skill as well as a high workrate.

“Even when he was with us we were told there were big teams chasing him so it doesn’t surprise me he is being linked with Rangers.”
