Ive had a few shandys and thought I havent started one of these for a long time. The Davie Robertson thread from last week got me thinking. Im having Robertson ahead of Numan.

And would I be wrong to have Klos ahead of Goram?? Klos was absolutely amazing but Goram had 8 years.

Right back is a problem.

Klos

Porrini Gough Moore Robertson

Laudrup Gascoigne McCall Albertz

McCoist Hateley

Butcher has to get a spot alongside Gough. Difficult choice between Klos and Goram.

Thats an age thing. Pete will come on and have Greig.

I am gutted to leave out Mols but I have to think of Elland Road Hateley and McCoist.

Goram

Stevens Gough Weir Numan

Laudrup McCall B.Ferguson(1st spell) Albertz

McCoist Boyd

it says fav team, not best team so I’ve picked my fav players I’ve had the pleasure to watch in each position. I’m quite specifically talking about Barry Ferguson 1998-2003 when he was a creative attacking midfielder, not the frustrating sitting midfielder from his second spell.

if it was best team I would make a few changes.

i could easily do another 11 as well;

McGregor

Porrini Cuellar Bjorkland Munro

Miko Gazza Gio Cooper

Mols Negri

And I’m still missing out some of my fav players and cult players from teams I’ve watched like Ian Ferguson, Durrant, Charbonnier, Wateruus, Hateley, Steven, Boumsong, McMinn, Bocanegra, Thern, Robertson, Roberts, Kanchelskis, Rod Wallace.

since 2012, only Lee Wallace, McKay, McLeod, McGregor, Morelos, Tav, Arfield would get anywhere near these lists for me. (Plus of course all the ones I have momentarily forgotten all about!)

Great thread!!!!!

Mine would be:

Goram

Hutton   Butcher   Gough   Brown

Laudrup   Durrant   Souness   Cooper

McCoist   Mols

I think I surprised myself at putting Hutton in there but I don't think I've ever seen someone like him.  Stevens was a better defender, but Hutton was the best I've seen at breaking forward.

I had to out Coop in there but I'll admit to swithering between him and Mikhailichenko.  Anyone think their team would manage to get the ball off my team?

“Anyone think their team would manage to get the ball off my team?“

I haven’t finalised my selection but if Harold Davis is in it, then aye, no bother.
