Supposedly Dorrans attacked on holiday

Recommended Posts

When will the MSM, government departments and ministers, be held accountable for creating a culture of acceptance and tolerance, facilitating the physical assault and sectarian attacks on Rangers players, supporters and staff?

Graham Dorrans and wife pictured at Glasgow Airport for first time after being knocked out in Ibiza attack

The Gers midfielder, 32, had been holidaying in Spain with teammate Ryan Jack along with their wives when he was attacked.

RANGERS ace Graham Dorrans has been pictured back home in Glasgow for the first time after he was viciously knocked out while on holiday in Ibiza.

The Gers midfielder had been holidaying in Spain with teammate Ryan Jack along with their wives.

But after the violent incident Dorrans and partner Yvonne hopped on the first plane home after he was treated by medics.

Snapped with his hood up, the 32-year-old strolled off the aircraft quietly.

Sources claimed he had been acting as 'peacemaker' during a confrontation between the WAGs and another Scot.

An insider told the Scottish Sun Online: "There was an argument involving the two women and some bloke from Dundee.

"Graham basically went over to act as peacemaker.

"But when they tried to leave the guy's taken a run at him and pushed him from behind."

Eyewitnesses had earlier claimed the playmaker had been knocked unconscious by a single blow following an argument.

But it is now understood the yob shoved him from behind and he was out cold after his head hit the deck.

Our source added: "He couldn't get his hands out quickly enough to break his fall and he's cracked his head on the ground.

"It was a really sore and he was knocked out for a bit."

Ibrox pals Dorrans and Jack jetted off to Spain with their other halves after the end of the season last Sunday.

Midfield ace Jack's wife Ashleigh shared a snap on social media at trendy Ocean Beach club in San Antonio just hours before the attack.

She captioned it: "Jack / Dorrans take Ibiza".

We told earlier how Dorrans had been caught on camera helping friend and teammate Jack on his feet when the ex-Aberdeen midfielder appeared to have enjoyed himself a little too much in the sunshine.

30 minutes ago, Bill said:

If I played forRangers I think I’d be holidaying well away from Neanderthal man.

Wouldn’t matter where he went, there are scum arse holes everywhere! The climate here enables anyone to feel we are fair game, home or abroad, as the club and culture has been demonised for years.

He could bump into them anywhere, and to be honest, imo he shouldn’t have to watch his back from sectarian bigoted scum here, let alone on holiday. Imagine the social meltdown and victim hood had it been someone from Shame FC?

The popular discourse would suggest that the words of Rangers fans are far more hurtful than the punches and kicks of our enemies.

Can’t recall if Alfie Conn had any issues when he moved to the dark side though he didn’t go directly there but neither did Mo Johnston come directly to us and I know for a fact he had problems.
