Rangers First Chinese Soccer School

Recommended Posts

When you see the interest the Chinese have taken in Italian football and clubs like RCD Espanyol due to Chinese involvement there, it seems like a good market.

Not really my cup of tea but you never know what might come of it.

Things like this make me proud of my club.  There's a market out there which we should tap into, but it's also a country desperate for organisations like our club to take an interest in its young people.  Well done Rangers!

I'd be happier if a Willie Henderson type was representing our club rather than Mark Hateley.

One thing that crossed my mind was that for the young Chinese school kids, the name Steven Gerrard won't mean a great deal, unless they start trawling youtube or the like. How time moves on.

I had wee Willie coming towards me last week on Sauchiehall Street and watching him dodging  other pedestrians I remarked that he wouldn't be out of place on our right wing even at his mature age he's still as fit as a fiddle

Willie is an intelligent man with a lot of experience in dealing with Asians.
