The Odious Rod Petrie

Recommended Posts

Rod Petrie of Hibs is to be the SFA’s 53rd President, a fitting accolade for 21 years of service to Scotland’s version of the Taliban.

Its interesting to to note that in 146 years of SFA Presidents, only one Rangers man has occupied the post for a single year - and that was 121 years ago. In the same period, four Celtic men have been President for a total of 20 years.

Utterly corrupt. They aren't even trying to hide it any more.

How can the man that laughed off the biggest riot at a football match in Scotland since the OF Final in 1979 (instigated by the supporters of the club he chaired) get anywhere near the top job at the SFA?

Weren't there any more qualified candidates? I mean anyone FFS?

On appointment, Rod screamed, "Lee Wallace is a grass".

Peter Lawwell assured the waiting press pack, "from now on, Rod will only say what I tell him to say".

The waiting press pack exhaled, "aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh".
