I don’t like the idea of playing without a recognised striker. Remains to be seen what Stewart can do. Not convinced he’s good enough for us.

I think Stewart will do fine for us but I'm surprised he's starting ahead of Defoe but I guess we'll see a different XI after half-time.

In fact, apparently we're playing a second XI after 60mins and with Morelos still injured/unavailable, then I guess we have to protect Defoe as well.

No recognised striker is a good idea in a league like Scotland as the defences are mostly park the bus so more movement is what you need to pull defenders out of position.

I think he plays on the left.

Hastie played mainly on the right for Motherwell.

 

It might Candeias plays centrally today - possibly even deeper than we usually see him.

 

Aribo should play further forward but I guess we'll see soon enough how the formation works.
