Gazza_8 233
Not a cricket fan but England should absolutely hammer Australia.
compo 5,952
One problem before a ball bowled the squad in my opinion only has one recognised opener.

Burns Roy Root (C) Denly Stokes Buttler (WK) Ali Woakes Curran Broad Anderson That is a weak side. The only opener by trade has no Test Match form. Root is going through an erratic phase. Denly is out of touch. Broad and Anderson are getting on and Anderson is just back from injury. Woakes gets in ahead of Bairstow because some extra bowling may be needed if one of the old guys can’t do five days. Archer doesn’t get in because nobody knows if he can do five days either. Despite rabbitting on about five days, I doubt the match will last that long. Australia win the series 3-1 or maybe 2-0.
cooponthewing 1,139
I hope I’m wrong but that English test team looks weak? Especially at the top of the order. Burns and Roy are not test batsmen but there are few options? I reckon it could be 3-1 Australia.
Rousseau 9,188
Roy shouldn't be opening. Root should be in at 3, but I think he's said he doesn't want to play there. Burns, or Ali - neither of which I like. Denly Root (c) Roy Stokes Buttler Bairstow Woakes Broad Anderson Archer

If you leave out Ali you’ve got only Root as a part time spinner at a spinner’s venue. Seen the day England would have gone into this with three spinners.
