Tannochsidebear 2,288
A rare good day for England today and looking good to win the final test and square the series, even if the urn has gone.
Rousseau 9,188
Where's this Archer-Wade stuff come from? I love it.
Rousseau 9,188
England win by 135 runs. Series drawn, Australia retain the Ashes. Root was good in the field today, and chipped in with 2 wickets. Curran made a difference, but they've continued their decent bowling performance throughout with, finally, a decent batting performance. Where was this performance for the other matches?

NZ commentary is night owl listening but South Africa is day time.. It will be interesting to see who goes where. Root, Stokes, Buttler and Broad might get a rest or a partial rest. Burns, Archer, Curran and Leach the only certainties.
Rousseau 9,188
Does anyone follow the county game? Do you have a team, or county that you 'follow'? I miss having Cricket on in the background...

Not so much now but in my very young day, Middlesex hero-worshiping Denis Compton, Middlesex, Arsenal and England.
