The thing is, we will play a lot of teams like that & on poor surfaces in the league this year. I think tonight showed how much we depend on Morelos. Defoe simply doesn’t have the same physical presence, against what looked like decent centre halves. Morelos rolled them about when he came on. Sell Morelos and kiss goodbye to the title, is my verdict after tonight!

Dreadful game to watch but we're through.

Jack to me was MoM and Kamara negligent in his short passing put too many of his team mates into trouble.

Makes you wonder how we're going to win the league if that's the best we can do. Pretty awful tbh.

 

Either Jack or Aribo could have been MOTM and ffs will someone remind Tavernier that he cannot take corner kicks, he's rank rotten at it.

Personally I don't think Killie will be particularly difficult this season. New manager with a very different approach to the game than Clarke. I do think that the Hibs game at home Sunday after playing away in Denmark will be very tough. Heckingbottom has had a good 6 months with them since coming in Feb so they will be well versed in his style of play which if I'm honest was pretty decent both defensively and attacking towards the end of last season. 

Killie might not but the likes of Motherwell and hibs will be

Another game where the ref was totally useless,two Gers players booked for nothing as it was play acting by Progres players whilst their number34 kicked ours all over the park,ah well this will probably be the norm by our incomps from Sunday.

I’m annoyed about the lost coefficient half point or whatever it was, that’s important for us right now and we’ve just thrown a gimme away there. On the other hand I don’t think there’s any reason to panic, these performances are common away from home at this stage in Europe. Having said that there’s merit in the point about lack of end product, we decided not to recruit a quality “marquee” player in the no 10 position for some reason.
