Just watching West Ham v Man City and VAR has been used on several occasions.  Personally, I don't like it, as I feel it detracts from the fluidity, spontaneity and excitement of a football match.

Since football started goalkeepers have always moved at penalty kicks this nonsense that he must keep his feet on the line is tripe , I  wonder what's the ruling that if the keeper moves before the player strikes the ball and sends it wide does he get a second chance because the goalkeeper moved .

VAR is a great idea. 

 

It's implementation has still be be perfected.

it is an absolute farce. If it ever comes into Scotland I'm out because no doubt it'll be even more of  a shambles up here

A waste of time and money. I preferred it when ref's got things wrong, at least the game kept moving. All this stop start pish is ruining the game.

Can think of many people missing transport connections due to time added on in some instances.

If implemented here it would be a farce,could you see Clancy /Beaton/Hobbit changing decisions in Rangers favour?

I think we'll see goal celebrations, by players and fans, slowly toned down because everyone will wait for VAR before truly believing they've scored.

 

The most joyous experience at a football match is unquestionably scoring and celebrating a goal - diminish that feeling of ecstasy and you lose a Hell of a lot.

 

I really, really hope VAR is never implemented in Scotland.

It's a "farce" to wait to get the correct decision? I'd rather wait.

 

I think they said, out of 270 or 370 goals (can't recall which) last season, VAR rescinded 6.

I’m presuming the results are reflective of most of us being over 40 and some well into their 80s..............
