FOI and the BBC's output

Cheers for that.

Dunno whether "the BBC" as such is at fault in general, as I would assume that a very large percentage of their employees are impartial and respectable journalists and workers.

The great problem lies with BBC Scotland and in particular their sports department, as well as some kind of ethos amongst the BBC of protecting their own - well known amongst journalists. And that despite knowing that such behaviour is food and drink to people like Saville or journalists following an agenda. Which is rather irritating, as they clearly are intelligent enough to see what is going on at Pacific Quay.

Then you have an institution that was and seemingly is governed by itself, yet being (force) paid for by license fees. In a so-called democratic society. It took Ofcom ages to get a foothold here and they still can`t get them all to the cleaners if need be.

Fantastic work Walterbear, your perseverance and tenacity will hopefully reap positive results. As you say, we have to continually keep at them and highlight BBC Scotland bias to London.

What London don’t understand is that the rats at BBC Scotland will happily sink the ship, so long as they can damage us while it’s sinking. They are bitter, twisted and sectarian bigots.

Rest assured, Walterbear, I'm with you here and have harrassed the BBC / BBC Trust regarding McLaughlin quite a few times myself ... not least with his new club mantra in those dire days.

Perhaps one needs to turn this on its head and accuses them of openly mis-using public / license fee money?
