Rugby World Cup

Scotland were cracking but Russia error prone but taking nothing away from the score. After the 3 quick tries in the first have within 8 minutes it was easy street from then on.

Bar a couple of needless forward passes the score would have been in the mid 70s.

Sunday will be a belter.

Domestic labours forbad watching on the telly so it was R5 commentary. Pleasure to listen to educated Scotsmen, Cotter, Lawson and Nicol instead of the usual blatherers. Why are Idessane and Annie Maguire not there?

The bloke who did the R4 summary, though, was straight off the Gallowgate. Must have gone out to see the sellick a few years back and is still there waiting.

Looks like Scotland will be out if their game is cancelled due to Typhoon Hagibis

Something typically Scottish about that. Puir auld Scotland. Even the weather’s agin us.

Pity it hadn’t been Typhoon Haggis against Ireland.

There were 15 haggises on the pitch against the Micks. Not one kicked up a storm.

At least the typhoon would give us an excuse.
