der Berliner 3,219 Posted August 19, 2019 Share Posted August 19, 2019 Well, over here at the icehockey games the club has said - years ago - that they will keep the season ticket prices at a certain level, don`t plan to raise them etc. pp. ... about 5 to 8 years on, things have changed a little - as everywhere else - and they started to charge a few Euros more per game, so the season ticket rose by somethin inbetween 20 to 50 Euros, depending on the seat. So they pay a minimal Euro 299 in the standing areas per game for the 35 odd home games plus play-offs. Instantly, some of the hardcore guys whipped up campaigns about capitalism and money grabbing and broken promises ... which eventually died down when sense returned. On the other hand, people going ballistic because their season ticket went up from Euro 9 per game to Euro 11 per game (when every other customer pays Euro 27 upwards) still come to every game and drink their 3 to 4 beer each plus eating bratwurst, French fries and whatnot ... each costing around 3 to 5 Euros.
