Ongoing issues with UEFA (two sanctions and counting)

Breaking .... on BBC

Rangers say they have been ordered by Uefa to close part of Ibrox for Thursday's Europa League meeting with Legia Warsaw following "racist behaviour - which includes sectarian singing".

A statement from Rangers reveals they must shut off "a section, or sections containing no fewer than 3000 seats".

This is not a surprise as it is Rangers but unjust when you hear/see what goes on at the green side of Glasgow.

This IMO points to a "sectarian ban" as obviously we are regarded as a Protestant club and whether we like it or not are in the minority to Catholicism in Europe.

Still it maybe get the mindless morons who continue to belittle the stature of our club, with their songs,to finally realise what pricks they are.

Apparently it relates to something that occurred during the home leg against St Joseph's.

I can't recall naughty songs being sung that night?

I can't recall the last Rangers game I was at and didn't hear a "naughty" song.

Rightly or wrongly, TBB has been creeping back for long enough.

We all know who is involved with FARE and who works with UEFA on this crap but still many people think it's a good idea to sign this song.

I suppose that depends on your definition of naughty.  TBB and the Famine Song are the only two I'm aware we can't sing in Europe and as I said, I don't recall either being sung.

It'll be interesting to learn what involvement FARE have in this.

The definition is simple i.e. any song that can get Rangers into trouble.
