What does the manager do about players like Tav, Arfield and Kamara, all of whom are struggling to find any kind of consistent form this season? Does he "rest" them and risk demotivation or does he persevere in the hope they gain form and we don't drop points in the meantime? It's hard to see the point of a large squad if we can't replace players who are performing so far below par.

He sticks by them in the hope they play into the form that we know they are capable off , anyway I only seen the first half and thought we played very well .

If you continue to play out of form players, what does that do for the morale of others who can't get a game and on whom we may have to depend in the event of injury or suspension. It's a hard balance to strike.

I have just watched the match again. I think the criticism of Tav is OTT, aye he missed a penalty, a few stray passes but none more than others such as Morelos, who was brilliant up front.

Feyenoord are a very good team but we deserved the win, should have been 3-0 up at half time. Overall an excellent team performance with no failures in the team.

When people come up with screamers like Ojo, it is hard to criticise him. Yesterday, as before, he drifted in and out of the game, similar to Kent`s start last season. It is something you hardly notice with folk like Davis or Jones, who are essentially all-action as long as they are on the pitch.

Aribo`s introduction, albeit late, showed his qualities, a bit similar to Morelos, as he likes to tackle players with body and ability.

Over all, SG manages his squad quite well though ... yet, I for one would like to see more of Stewart and Polster every now and then.

That's why I am glad I am not a manager but a good manager will find the balance .

Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!

It immediately caught my eye in the photograph of trouble in the away end that there appeared to be a yahoo shirt in there right at the centre of it.
