Club fans survey update

I think most fans, for the moment at least, would prefer a successful team on the park rather than nice (but often costly) additions.

Improvement right across the match-day experience is very welcome and necessary but as long as we're winning I doubt many folk really care about the quality of the pies and whether or not they can get on Twitter at half-time.

The main driver is to get people onto the footprint earlier, staying longer and more importantly spending more ergo eventually having more cash to invest in the team.

We don't really have any option but to improve the facilities all round as where we once led we now linger miles behind due to decades of fiscal ineptitude.

As someone who likes to get into the stadium 30mins early or so, I like the idea of improvements but not entirely sure what they can do to persuade people to leave comfort of pubs to come earlier and/or leave later.

The Broomloan Front concourse isn't really a place I'd like to spend time in as it's cold, dirty and usually stinks of damp, grease or p!sh.  The food/drink is expensive and most fans seem to agree it's poor.  I rarely gamble so I've no interest in updated bookies.  Not sure what else they can do other than serve alcohol which, again is no good to me, as I'm the designated driver... ;)

If they want to spend money on facilities that are worthwhile, then it should be on those our disabled fans 'enjoy'.  That should go without saying though.

The concourses will be completely and totally revamped as part of the 2022 works a side effect of the concourse work is that it increases the options for the inclusion of wheelchair spaces among other things. Though I'm not entirely convinced that some of the options I've seen are either viable financially or feasible I'm sure the majority of fans will welcome the overall improvements.

The only place I can judge is the Dortmund stadium and the drink and eating stalls are mobbed just before the game. That people can have a drink without having to walk from a pub also plays a role. Down your pint enter the ground, have a pee and go to your seat to watch the Gers. Heaven!? I can see many getting off the subway and having a pint and possibly a snack. I take it the idea will be to better facilities and experience. It may not happen overnight though. Admittedly the weather will play a role on numbers but that is normal unless you live in a warm land.
