Second half performance really was top drawer and we could well have won it if it wasn't for an amazing point blank stop from the Porto 'keeper.  In saying that, we had McGregor to thank for superb double stop when we switched off with 5mins left.

 

Well done to all and a shout out to the away support who were loud and proud in the background.

Very proud of that performance.

 

Porto couldn't get the ball off us for the first 30 minutes of that second half; we passed through them with some delightful interplay.

 

Couple of glorious opportunities that we really have to take - like the swiss last time out - at this level.

 

I actually wrote these two matches off when the draw was made; but we can compete with this team, even if they perhaps weren't at their best.

 

We did need a wonderful save from McGregor to see it out. It's frustrating playing so well and still be in the situation where that one chance, however undeserved, ruins it for us.

Unbelievable performance. Better team for me and there's a case for saying we should be dissapointed not to win.
