Alex Rae in Rangers investment claim

Recommended Posts

In many ways it is still somewaht bizarre that some people believe that "an investor" will happen by and pump money into the club, as if we were living in the "one  chairman rules everything" days. The ways of "pumping money" into the club are quite restricted and we sure won't want to breach the financial regulations which are now in place.

I hope Rangers is never owned by people who are not Rangers supporters.

You are right but it is possible to become a Rangers supporter of course. The guy from Weirs Pumps is a Rangers supporter but proffers to keep his money in his pocket.

That'll be Jim McColl. He was considering putting cash in back in 2010 but quickly backed out when his name became public. He'll not be looking to change his stance on that any time soon.
