I think Aribo has had another very good game.

Took us about 20 mins to get into that, but it is still more graft than guile. IMHO a couple of decent penalty shouts, the first a "might be", the second as stonewall as it gets. After the goal Motherwell upped their physical approach, Barsisc and Afredo on the end of some heinous stuff, and later on several chaps tried to wind up Alfredo. IMHO, at such time SG should have a word with the 4th official and the ref at HT, as this is bound to get nasty if they don't step in.

 

As for the players, Kent needs  to get his act together near the area, for he looks "too hectic" there and looses the ball too often.

 

Over all content with the display ... workmanlike as it is.

To be fair to Katic, he got better as the half went on. His aerial duels were rightly restricted to balls he could actually win, rather than throwing himself into everything in no-man's land leaving the defence wide open.

I actually feel more like we're going to win these games than when we are all over a team and haven't scored within 20 mins.  Mad though.

Trying to make a case against Morelos there for a ''kick out'', unbelievable!!, well said Kris Boyd he said it is only because it's Morelos, everything he does is highlighted, also said stonewall penalty when the Motherwell player was on Morelos back. Once again Rangers refereed to a different standard!!, embarrassing!!

Fairly content with that first half - the only complaint is that we've been wasteful in good positions too often.  Kent and Tav being most guilty and the former really has to do more on the ball at times.

 

Morelos once again superb and only stopped by some decent goalkeeping.  Other than that we've been pretty solid and 'Well haven't looked a threat at all but neither did Aberdeen the other week until we allowed them into the game.

 

Main worry is that we start to tire as the second half goes on so it's imperative the manager uses his subs well to allow us to stay in control of the game and that we don't sit deep as we did late on against YB as Motherwell are capable of punishing us.
