SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

Recommended Posts

Given the new season is due to start next weekend, does anyone know when the arbitration process is expected to conclude?

If Hearts and Thistle are successful, do they win compensation but still get relegated?

Sure I read somewhere today was last day of arbitration and decision expected tomorrow or more likely Monday?

As to what, if any impact on the start of the season? Pass!!

It depends on what Doncaster/Lawwell have concocted.

I reckon it'll be Monday before the decision is made public.  The longer things are delayed, the less pressure there'll be for changes at the top of our game.

I wonder if our board will stick to their statement guns...

If the Hertz and the Jags "win", as they ought to, morally, and in terms of sporting integrity and corporate governance, and in the light of  clear malfeasance and mendacity, they will obtain a remedy which will be to their, presumably mutual, satisfaction.

Irrespective of what that redress actually is, their success will indicate that the SPFL acted wrongly, before, and/or during, perhaps even after,  the voting process to end the PL campaign, and it will have possibly conceded or certainly accepted such at Arbitration (or outwith the tribunal, if it throws/has thrown in the towel); and that just might be an open goal for Rangers and others.
