SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

Recommended Posts

Nicola Sturgeon has declared that from Monday onwards, sports events can go ahead behind closed doors.

Nice (snatched from FF) ...

July 1 - Rangers v St Johnstone
July 4 - Round 31
July 8 - Round 32
July 11 - Round 33
July 15 - Round 34
July 18 - Round 35
July 22 - Round 36
July 25 - Round 37
July 29 - Round 38

Based on a return to training last week coupled with UEFA' timeframe of trying to get league completed by the end of July for 2019/20 it would have been a hard task on the players after a 3 month break.

... oops, not in Scotland! Since a certain SFA/SPFL advisor doctor at the start of the Corona crisis said that no football can be played again till June 11th, which was accepted as hard fact and the season declared over, a guy that was pictured a few years back in his full Celtic training outfit.

Hibs going under would fill me with delight.  I doubt it will happen though.

Heard them and Motherwell are scrapping their reserve teams and Hibs closing their academy - don't know how true.....

not just them either.  Rangers don’t know what the youth and development league will look like - and that’s even if there is one.... seems a number of teams are considering scrapping their youth development teams

Hibs are seemingly in a bit of financial trouble due to their parent company. But lets wait and see.

Oh please please let it be true.

Another triumph of leadership in Scottish football.
