SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)

Aberdeen seemed to be voting against it, but late on, ended up in favour , which might suggest that Liewell has now got the same influence with Dave Cormack that he had with Stewart Milne.

I read a report on Aberdeen's suggested justification for changing sides.

It was laughably incoherent.

One likely factor is that Aberdeen may have noticed that the vote was already going to pass in the top league.  No need for them to spend any political capital in that situation.

Given the drip feed and counting of votes over a period up to 5pm and knowing Dundee were going to vote No, did SPFL contact them via Lawell and SPFL Board members excluding Robertson and tell Dundee to hold fire for sweeteners? Looks like from where I’m standing and if so it’s blatant corruption.

Our club should really press the SPFL now, given that seemingly Dundee has 28+/- days to consider their vote now, while all the rest of the clubs seemingly made to think that Friday 17 o'clock was "THE" deadline. The subsequent statement by the SPFL was a slap in the face of Thor's Hammer proportions ...

Likewise, enough time now to make more proposals to the member clubs bar the hasty one by the SPFL.

Good read, well worth the barrage of adverts. They shot down our proposal saying it wasn't legal in company law, then insisted on a 5pm deadline despite their own rules stating 28 days to respond. This goes too deep to be incompetence. Corrupt to the core.
