You think you know what the BBC is up and all other manner of subjects. But really, you alongside many others on here are in the main, just consumers of the propaganda that is regularly churned out by right  wing media / thinktanks / pundits / online loonballs, etc

Don’t be daft, man. I have listened to bbc for a lot longer than your 4 decades. Do you think I can’t judge what I hear? bbc is institutionally biased. The bias is to the intellectual left.

I can’t speak for forlan or Bill or others but do you really think they don’t form their own opinions?

This place could be host to a case study.

Back to comedy for a lighter end.......

I coined the phrase the Righteous Angry Mob, it fits.  (Sometimes The Righteously Blind might be more accuarte)

They are like a gaggle of indoctrinated shitehawks descending on a thread and spraying it with open erse cheeks ?

I take it we've been watching the wrong type of Socialist news channels?

Sometimes the Gersnet light shines very brightly. Concise, emphatic and precise. Terrific post.

There is no problems with 5G but what we need to do is cut China from the equation by finding another partner in its provision

There is only one other possible partner and that's the US. it will be a more expensive solution but will almost certainly be a more reliable one.

It might not have escaped the seasoned observer that it may well have been the government's intention all along to go with the US system and that dumping Huawei is an excellent card in your hand when it comes to negotiating a trade deal with America.

Just as there's little doubt Trumps retreat from a global policeman role is in fact about sucking China into the debilitating quagmire of regional politics. China is already committing more and more resources into places like Iran, Afghanistan, etc and will soon learn what Russia took so long to understand.

Actually, the eventual replacement for Huawei kit in the core network will be Ericsson. BT has partnered with the Swedish company and it's kit will be a key addition to BT’s Network Cloud and will continue the move already underway to a single converged IP network. However the removal of Huawei kit from the core network (EE) has I think been delayed and will be later than 2020.
