The Foreign Policy of the USA (1945 to present day)

Recommended Posts

I will be going down my predictable route, mainly highlighting on what I think are negative effects of the foreign policy and ensuing fallout but if someone wants to bring up whatever another angle, feel free.

The one request I'd make is that the conversation remains civil and on the subject matter, wherever it goes.

Disagree all you want but try where possible, to be constructive and detail why. Likewise, I'll do the same.

I'll get this thread up now and when I can, will gradually build the case, so to speak.

----------------------------------

A couple of definitions of a Rogue State:

- a state that does not respect other states in its international actions.

- a nation or state regarded as breaking international law and posing a threat to the security of other nations.

Using the definitions above, it is clear that are quite a few rogue states out there.

My contention is that principally due to scale, the USA is not only a rogue state but the most prolific repeat offender for the past 70 years or so.

In this thread I'll show why that is my belief.
