The Foreign Policy of the USA (1945 to present day)

Some quotes I think are in order...

Neitzsche: It is my ambition to write in ten sentences what others say in a whole book.

Orwell: Never use a long word where a short one will do.

Orwell (again): If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.

Thomas Jefferson: The most valuable of all talents is never using two words when one will do.

Hosea Ballou: Brevity and conciseness are the parents of correction.

George Burns:. The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending; and to have the two as close together as possible.

Mokokoma Mokhonoana:  Verbosity wastes a portion of the reader’s or listener’s life.

I think you get the picture.

When there's previous evidence of someone not paying attention to good advice, you need to state it more forcefully.  🙃

How did you spell "Mokokoma Mokhonoana" correctly, but got Friedrich's name wrong?

I'm fluent in Xhosa but shite at German.

I've tried that many times and it clearly hasn't worked, has it.
