I honestly thought Glenn Middleton had left Rangers. It will be interesting to see whether he's still a Rangers player three months from now.

On a general point I wonder if new contracts will have a clause stating payment will begin on football actually starting again? It seems the only way transfer deals will get moving.

I think Hladky would be a good back up keeper. You would expect he wouldn’t cost much in terms of a fee or wages. His ball-playing stats are outstanding.

Exclusive: Rangers open talks to sign Liverpool-born forward sensation

Rangers have opened talks to sign Liverpool-born rising star Tony Weston, Football Insider can reveal.

The young forward, 16, has already made his first-team debut at Blackpool even though he does not turn 17 until September.
...
Weston cannot sign a professional deal with Blackpool until his 17th birthday.
However, Scottish rules allow clubs north of the border to tie young stars to professional terms at the age of 16.

Rangers took advantage of this to secure their own home-grown star Leon King to a pro deal earlier this year despite an avalanche of interest from top Premier League clubs as well as those on the Continent.

A bit older but some rumours that WBA are still in the hunt for Goldson ...

West Brom ready to battle Leeds United for Rangers defender - report

The Baggies are said to be ready to battle Championship rivals Leeds United and Fulham for Connor Goldson, who is a key player for the Scottish giants

West Brom "are setting their sights" on Rangers defender Connor Goldson.

The Baggies are said to be ready to battle Championship rivals Leeds United and Fulham for the 27-year-old centre-back, who is a key player for the Scottish giants under Steven Gerrard.

"West Brom are ready to join the English big guns keen on signing Rangers defender Connor Goldson," say Football Insider.

Meanwhile Aberdeen may want 1.75m for Ferguson (who`s laughing there?)

The Gers have been linked with a move for the midfielder, who has impressed so far this campaign with Aberdeen. In 38 games in all competitions, he has scored three goals and provided nine assists, and that has led to his current employers reportedly wanting well in excess of £1.75m, which is the record fee they have received to date for one of their players.

I think he'd be a good signing and not just because it will annoy the hell out of the Dons.

£1.75M sounds alright to me.

Ferguson looks a decent player, with potential.

We have some of our own decent players with potential,a signing we don't need at valuation,as we need already established players and not one who will need nursing.

The valuation seems right going by whats left on his contract.

The guy knows what playing in the spfl is about and would add a bit of much needed grit and strength in areas we are weak so would be a decent signing in my eyes.
