Weiedly, Brighton signing Leon Balogun was the reason we were able to sign Goldson. 

 

We need cover at CB - Katic is out until New Year at earliest, Herlander is nowhere to be seen, Bassey is young and inexperienced, McCorie and Mayo will / should go out on loan. 

 

We have 2 fit CH's, a short-term experienced signing was / is required.

My first thought was, I'd rather see Mayo get game-time here.

 

However, he'll still not get game-time if he's the back-up. First-choice will be Goldson and Edmundson. How often do you rotate CBs? 

 

It's better if Mayo/McCrorie go out on loan.

It was only for certain games, when Helander or Katic suited the opposition.

I wonder what they have brewin? Another CB? They need one....Another attacker? They need one dem too. Still early days in this transfer window. Hopefully they sign quality...gon be a looong season.

A striker and possibly a centre half and I'd be happy enough with our transfers, with a few more going on loan to develop

This bit of news has since been verified as rubbish, Ojo has a contract till 2023

 

Balogun will obviously become a hit at Ibrox, as he was born in BERLIN!

 

Has played almost as often as CH as he has as right-back, and so far 31 times for Nigeria, including the WC 2018.
