I'm guessing they must be confident they can get the asking price. Wondering if they're content to wait till another window to get it. I think I and most others were concluding that the moment Roofe and Itten came in Fredo was out.

Lille have the knack of buying players pretty cheap and moving then on at huge fees so we should hold out for our price and our terms .

The board will have a figure they want and it's up to potential buyers to match it.  I'd imagine it'll be around £18m.

I always said I'd want more than £20M for Morelos, but now, I think I'd take the £16M.

Have to admit i'm getting a bit edgy about it. Would be tempted to take 16.25 if it is indeed on offer.

I think that’s fair enough, on the proviso that there is a meaty sell on clause attached and that it is not payable over a few years. Don’t trust 2 bob Froggy outfits to pay up, I still remember Marseille and Trevor Steven.

16.25 million. Take it now!! He's off form and carrying weight. 16 million all but counters our spending on Hagi, Itten and Roofe and leaves us with some change
