I wonder if anyone noticed that there were 15,000 complaints to Ofcom about a black dance troupe on Britains' Got Talent; an act which featured a mock-up of the George Floyd incident. The only reason to complain was because they were racist. So it's actually quite comforting to know that there are only 15k racists in Britain - a tiny minority.

Or maybe they complained because they didnt like the idea of highlighting someone who had previously attempted to commit armed robbery against a woman ?

You can make the assumption all you like but that still doesnt make you right.

And you do realise, as stewarty says, you are literally suggesting that every racist in the UK called Ofcom - what a strange wee bubble you live in at times ASIL

I was only mocking gently - I don't think that is what he meant really.   But I do find it amusing that those who complain constantly about woke-ness and virtue signaling are the worst offenders for exactly that, but merely doing it with a different agenda

That is plaintively not true. It is, and remains the liberal left who established both, together with cancel culture and identity politics and remain the arbiters of calling out individuals and groups in the media, through the arts and academia and into politics.

His Royal Wokeness rides to ASIL's defence, deja vu! ?

He can explain himself surely?

Then again probably not.
