Diversity and Inclusion Charter

I can't wait to go to the football in the 2050s.  We'll have minute's silences for dead pets, safe spaces for people with mental health problems, Lady Gaga's nephew, Sharon, will conduct goal celebrations with his/her rainbow theramin and people who stand up to cheer a goal will probably be tazered.

I read an article yesterday with detailed analysis showing that the youngest cohort of voters are significantly more right wing in their views than their big brothers and sisters. I remember in the late 1960's it appeared that the socialist revolution was upon us - the next you knew they were Thatcher's children worshipping loadsamoney and buying Sid's shares. Given the extreme lunacy now being promulgated, I think we might just be approaching a new tipping point.

I understand these conversations need to be had.  Some don't want to have them at all and want to have their ideology railroaded through, with no questions asked.  Anyone who asks questions is labelled as right wing, a bigot or a ???phobe.

These people pop up a lot online but I never ever hear them speak up on supporters buses, in pubs around Ibrox or at the matches.

I'm all for a good polemic and our club, like it or not, has to try and accommodate everyone but it will take a lot of convincing for me to believe we are responsible for local decision making that hasn't already been made far above our remit.

I won't close the thread but be sensible in what you expect and ask.

I wonder if you have considered the feelings of the many black players we have and have had.

And I see nothing wrong whatever with BLM (whoever they are) supporting Palestine; Israel is the most powerful racist state in the world.

I don't believe Rangers should get involved with the politics of a foreign country.

I don't believe Rangers should be supporting the defunding of the police.

If you think the Rangers should just because of the feelings of certain players then fair enough.

Lets catch up with the times and show that the club actually is for everyone and anyone and not exclusively for people who are white Protestant.

Hence the Everyone Anyone charter.

Politics is politics and should not be a part of sport. This "black lives matter" has gone on long enough, should be finished with as it is too one sided.

Don't know if anyone agrees but taking the position, in which the guy was killed, is highlighting the method of what happened and not a protest and derogatory to the guys death.
