[FT] Livingston 0 - 0 Rangers

I'm expecting a tough match but we need to be winning these games to put pressure on the vermin.  If Aribo, Kent and Hagi can turn it on and we maintain a quick passing tempo for spells, we should win fairly comfortably.

Balogun confirmed as unavailable for foreseeable due to quad issue and manager said he will be happy with Helander or Edmundson.

Disappointing for him after an excellent start, but if it fastracks Helander's road back to full fitness then that would be a good thing.

Is it wise to risk Helander on that pitch after he has just returned from injury? maybe Edmundson should start?

Depends. Is the particular foot injury he had really more likely to recur on a plastic pitch? The medical team will have to make a call on that.

Personally I would go with Edmundson as he would relish the physical battle with Dykes.

Edmundson to start for me. Did very well pre-season and deserves his chance with Balogun sidelined and I wouldn't risk Helander on the plastic surface especially as it's a foot injury he's recovering from. We should be destroying Livi tomorrow given their early form, I just hope the script isn't written for Dykes to prove a point.
