CammyF 6,756 Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) The manager also commented on small changes to formation so we are not as open to counter-attacks and losing stupid / silly goals. Game is not all about forward players, they require a platform to go and perform and the defence and defensive midfield players must take huge credit for this. Going forward, Itten looks like UK / Scottish type target man but who can play a bit, Roofe is getting his fitness and sharpness back and will be a constant threat for us. Kent looks likely to become the player we want him to be and Barker was a pleasant surprise today. Didn't realise he was only 23 - there is a player / talent in there, hopefully today is a turning point for him.
