The amazing thing was watching the police escort them from the stadium what next if you catch the burglars in your home , give them a coffee and wait for the police to come round to run them home

Well they sat around on their arses while protestors pulled down statues and defaced the Cenotaph last summer - why should we expect anything else from the PC Police.

Whats your like about them MrScott if I may ask?

They have been a bit of a yoyo club and border the line about being an all Premier league club.

My very first West Ham game was WBA at home in 1989 and WBA won 3-2 at upton park. I did go to the Hawthorns the next season and West Ham won 1-0..a certain Frank McAvennie was playing up top in his second spell.

West Ham probably had a team you guys would appreciate that day I first went to Upton Park.

Big Phil Parkes in goal, Alvin Martin centre half, Tommy McQueen (ex aberdeen) Ray Stewart (I really dont remember much about him) Liam Brady in his final year. McAvennie.

As a callow youth I was influenced by a cup final victory and a centre forward called Ronnie Allen a Jeff Astle  of his time.

As for the Hammers, Ray Stewart was a cracking good player.
