That's a tough group considering they were in Pot 1

Aye, but those 3 teams will be delighted at drawing such a "big gun" in Pot 1! The only reason they are there because FOUR higher ranked teams went out last night! I'll be really surprise if they qualify from that group! Bring on the Disco Lights ?

All you can ever hope for is a group that gives us a reasonable chance of progressing and I think we definitely got that. Thankfully there are no mega-journeys to far flung hellholes.

Edit - wouldn't it be funny if £40m signing Alfredo Morelos scored a hat trick for Lille to sink them at Parkhead. You can dream.

Will these be one off ties or two leg affairs

It is the normal 6 game group stage, so we play each side home and away. First games are on 22 October, then the next 2 Thursdays, a 3 week break then the last 3 games on consecutive Thursdays.

Out of curiosity, I checked the Aberdeen and Hibs forums to see what they were saying about last night and the draw today.

Surprisingly, they are saying very different things. This may not be representative of the wider supports, but whilst Aberdeen fans were wishing nothing but a crushing defeat on us and spewing at our success and constantly referencing our finances, Hibs fans were looking at the bigger picture and were glad to see the coefficient improving and looking forward to the opportunities it could bring them.

The ability of Aberdeen fans to overestimate their own worth never fails to impress.

I get the impression that delusion is the difference between the two sets of fans
