No-one will be sacked but, in the case of Jones, who has embarrassed the club a few times now off the park, I can't see the manager being to keen to play him again.

 

Edmundson is a first offender but the seriousness of it may also bring his Rangers career to a premature end in the next window.  Very silly given Leon King has been training with the first team lately.

Depends which player it is and who's responding. 

 

If it's Tavernier, @der Berliner would have him hung, drawn and quartered. 

 

If it's Kent, @DMAA would use it as another example of why Kent's not good enough. 

 

If it's Barker, @ian1964 will have the taxi drawing up at Auchenhowie. 

 

If it's Morelos, it's another example of a disciplinary issue. 

 

If it's Kevin Thomson, @craig would be saying he's actually great with his kid, and the virus probably started it. 

 

Say what you will, though, Josh Windass would never be caught in this type of situation. ?

The reaction to Jones is understandable given the way he's acted while signed for us, from getting himself needlessly sent off against Celtic and injuring himself in the process, being criticised by Gerrard for his attitude in training to being done for careless driving when undertaking and tailgating.

 

People can make a mistake, but when it's consistent then people's patience can run thin.

I doubt anyone will be sacked, but I can't see Jones ever getting a look in again. I'd say we'll take whatever we can get for him and see him on his way.
