Sweet - Cadbury new snack partner of the club

Recommended Posts

I wish I had left this alone; it's turning into a Marathon.

(Now known, inexplicably, as a Snickers; a ridiculous name, which completely Mars one's enjoyment of the snack.)

Who’s old enough to remember....”I’ve got 5p, what can I get for 5p?”

Better than that used to buy a penny caramel and half it in two to share with my pal.Sixpence ,as 5p ws then, could buy you a lot of sweets and ginger.

Here, in deepest, darkest Lanarkshire; we have an annual open air music festival. It's been happening for a couple of centuries in Larkhall. Numerous bands arrive and create a colourful cavalcade. I believe the local pride is a rambunctious grouping called, 'the Larkhall Purple Heroes'? Their drum skins are sponsored by Cadbury's Heroes, and those tins of Cadbury's Heroes prevalent in all stores at this time of year, are indeed a homage. Small drums honouring the carefree cavalcading Larkhall Purple Heroes.

What is it with Quakers, brewing and confectionery?

They saw the sweetie mills as less Satanic, apparently.

Or maybe they had a sideline in dentistry.

Didn't know about the beer.
