Essentially, we could only replace Goldson with Bassey, so perhaps giving Barisic some rest and getting Bassey even sharper may mean a better back-up solution should either of our CHs drop out today or in weeks to come. I do expect Helander to be back soonish though.

How`s the weather up there?

It's a perfect day for football up there.  :)

Off topic but has anyone noticed the poor surface at Ibrox? looks like the same problems with the pitch still exist

It's a blessing we are only on the Ibrox pitch twice(Motherwell and Hibs) before the end of the year.

I believe the Fir Park Groundsman began at Ibrox, served his apprenticeship before heading off to England. His work at 'Well has been a minor miracle.

So it wasn’t just me who thought they saw one or two signs on Thursday night that the ibrox pitch was deteriorating like it did last season ☹️

Aye wee @johnnykwas at the stadium the other week for his tea and the pitch looked poor then from his photos.

The weather has been poor lately so that, along with the lack of light despite the artificial lamps we use, means the pitch looks like it's not as good as we'd like.
