Agreed.  I don't care much for the way he sets up his teams, but I would give credit to McInnes in the way he has refreshed his squads over the years.   Not that its won him anything.

That gets rid of a lot of deadwood, and brings in a couple of, I think, decent squad players? Maybe even potential first-team players.

Both squad players but Barker and Jones are known entities whereas Wright possibly has more potential. I liked Edmundson to be honest and I hope he can prove himself at Derby.

Derby is a good move for the big unit, get stuck in, fit, and play football, come summer we may be looking to take him back and give him another chance, he shouldn't be jettisoned for one daft mistake IMO. There's definitely a player in there.
